Re: Old style flat packs - not CA legal?
That is just damn pathetic that california is so hard up for money that they invent new laws so they can go out and fine people that arn`t doing any thing wrong. What about people that are on vacation from another state that have the old style fuel packs or gas cans, how would they know about this r...

Re: How to Make Quad Calif. Steet Legal
[quote="avejoe"]I give up. Trail restrictions have made it too difficult so I decided to make my quad California street legal. Are you surprised ?, just about everything in california is illegal. Just wait until they make you buy a license to breathe. I moved out of Kalifornia seven months ago becau...

Re: Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 Tires.
Thanks guys I appreciate all the comments on my ATV. I just wish the snow would go away and the weather would warm up to at least the mid 40`s, I just can`t handle trying to ride in 20 degree weather. I just moved to Idaho six months ago so im not used to all the snow. I got my ATV in the middle of ...

Re: Slime In Your Tires.
I decided to learn a little more about Slime, and how it works. I've used "fix-a-flat" cans before on my cars/trucks and didn't think it would be really different. The thing is, the fix-a-flat products typically use latex rubber to seal any holes, but you really want to have the tire fixed afterwar...

Re: Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 Tires.
GR, You should have had these by now.. have you got them mounted up and have your ridden on them? How about some pics?? I'll likely have a set this time next year. My stock PXT's are doing fine and have tons of tread. So baring a torn side wall or some such, it will be a while for mine. I would lik...

Replacement Springs.
Im looking to upgrade the springs on my 2011 sportsman 550 eps. High Lifter makes a set for the 2009-2010 550 and 850, so i called them to see if they would fit my ATV, but they didn`t know if they would, they said they were still waiting for the specs on the new ATV`s from polaris. So do any of you...

Re: Air Presure ?.
Ok ken, i went out and lowered the presure to 5 psi. I can`t go riding right now to try it out because the roads are covered in ice, and its just to dangerous.

Re: Air Presure ?.
I don`t do any rock crawling, but at 5 psi that just seems to low to me, as big and heavy as these tires are. At that presure is there a chance of blowing the bead on a tire ?.Ken wrote:7 is high. 5 is better.
Rock crawling less...3.5 to 4.

Air Presure ?.
I just got some Bighorn 2.0`s, right now i have the air presure at 7 psi front and rear. The trails i ride on are mostly dirt with some rocky sections, is 7 psi alright or should i run a different presure ?.
