Do you ride a lot?
I was recently asked if I ride a lot. I answered, "how much is a lot?" I have just over 2000 miles on my ATV in 4 full years. Do I ride a lot? How much do you ride? I guess I am just curious now.

By most standards I'd say that would be a lot of miles.
I had almost 4000 miles on my 2005 King Quad when I sold it last year and almost 600 on the new Can-Am now

I put 1100 or so on mine in 2 years. (that's a shitload of trips in and out of the shed AJ)
If you ride in Nevada or Utah, you can EASILY put a couple hundred per trip on. Here in Cali, you're lucky to put a hundred on in a weekend of riding.
Then there's the LEVEL of riding. One day on the 'con might only be 20 miles, but you'll feel like you rode 5 times that much by the end of the day.
Hower's quad only has like 1200 miles on it, but it looks like it has 10,000.

FLIPOFF!!
I think I had 2500 miles on my old 700...and about 1500 on my 06.....which is A LOT...considering most of my rides are on the Rubicon and Fordyce.

That's what I was thinking. I did a ton of crawling. Maybe the thing to look at is number of miles and hours on atv. I will have to check my hours.Ken wrote:FLIPOFF!!

Well I have 211 hours on my 05. Of course my wife is riding with me on most trips and she is more interested in sight seeing and camping. But we do average close to 10mph. Having to drive 2-3 hours to get to a riding spot does reduce my opportunities.

I'll let you know once I can get to the Grizzlies to check the odometers. I'm wearing slippers, and 4 feet of snow is COLD on the tootsies when you're only wearing slippers...
