5th Annual Terry Reid "Mr. Miyagi" Memorial Ride
Come celebrate Terry's life. And this year, we will also celebrate Chadd (with 2 d's) Burroughs.
5th Annual. I'm stunned. As agreed last year, Sept 17, 18, 19 to try to avoid fees at Meadow Lake.
EVERYONE from any location is well come. The road is dirt, and slow going...but trailers are not a problem. Even if you don't ride....come to hang out.
Location: Meadow Lake
Directions:
From HWY 80
North on Hwy 89
(Toward Sierraville) (RESET odometer at exit)
14.8 miles Turn Left at Jackson Meadows
(Sign before turn says Weber Lake, Independence Lake and Jackson Meadows)
Go EXACTLY 9.7 miles (just past Weber Lake) turn left toward Meadow lake.
It's 11.1 Miles to Meadow Lake.
(The road turns to dirt in about 100 yards.)
From Sierraville on 89
Turn left at Jackson Meadows and repeat above.

I'm planning on being there. I assume two wheeled quads are allowed?

Re: 5th Annual Terry Reid "Mr. Miyagi" Memorial Ride
Are you guys aware that the campground is being kept open longer this year, with a host, and that you will have to pay camping fees?
Re: 5th Annual Terry Reid "Mr. Miyagi" Memorial Ride
Then we'll camp in an area where there are no fees. There are lots of them. The cost to camp there (according to Rich) was going up dramatically, and unrealistically. I refuse to support it.
We'll ride our quads to the bathroom.

Re: 5th Annual Terry Reid "Mr. Miyagi" Memorial Ride
so what are the plans for friday?anyone showing up thursday night?
Re: 5th Annual Terry Reid "Mr. Miyagi" Memorial Ride
Mike,
The "schedule of events"...LOL.
Friday - Jack may arrive Thursday night or come with me early AM Friday. We're planning on putzing around....nothing "planned". Except a probably night ride to "Jack's Spot" for some star watching.
Saturday - This is our tradition. We head toward Washington, and drive into town and each lunch and toast a drink to Terry, and now Chadd.
Sunday AM - We will tackle the Fordyce. Running from Meadow to Committee crossing. We'll do Winch hill 5, 4 and 3. Goal is to be back by Noon to break camp and take off.
Bring mini-mike!!

mini mike is looking forward to meeting all you guys! he said what happens at meadow stays at meadow!
Re: 5th Annual Terry Reid "Mr. Miyagi" Memorial Ride
looks like i can tentatively say im going to make this if you guys dont mind a random guy (me) + an old guy (father) + my 2 dogs (Harely / Saxon). My father (mike) said he would come along and take care of my pup's for me if thats a concern for you all.
Id rather not stay in any formal type camp so ill be further down on meadow lake i was thinking. Do you guys hve any idea where abouts your going or playing it by ear.

I'm looking forward to it. I'll probably bring my 2-wheeled quad again, the CRF450. Hope I can hang with you yaa-hoos all the way to that little bar in Washington. My buddy Arnold's truck is still recovering from that run.
