BF 650i
I was looking at the Brute Force 650i and it seems to have the needed chassis upgrades it's bigger brother 750 was struggling with. I saw one BF 750 on a video here(can't find it again) and was wondering how they were wheeling with the Polaris quads? Any thoughs, experineces or opinions?
Seem to work ok......I only rode with Dave once....
But frankly...this is my only lasting memory of Dave...

Is that a video of Larry rolling his King Quad?
There's a thread about the recall....I'm sure you read it. Perhaps Dave knows more.

the brute is 160 lbs lighter for a reason. they bend I think just about everytime ther is a new model you find the week links pretty quick. Kawi has recalled the machines with the tie rod problems. the engine is awsome, the clutch set up is spot on I have closr to 1000 miles with no problems except the tie rods. one complaint that I do have is the steering is very heavy. I realy notice when I ride my wifes polaris 700 then jump back on the brute.

Thanks for the info Dave. From my understanding, as I haven't been on a 650i yet, the steering is much improved. They changed the caster angles, revalved the front shocks and beefed up the tie rods on the 650i. With the changes in the motor it is supposed to keep up with the 750 to about 30mph. This is all form a buddy that rides one with a group of 750's, so I can't say for sure. I really like the fact they have seperate front and rear break controls. I was seriously concidering the cat, but am looking still. This 650i really has my interest.
P.S. Do you have any more pics you would be willing to share?

It's frankly, amazing in that brutal terrain...that the wheels held together THAT long...
It's a testament to their solid test program...
HEY! I thought you promised me Dave's wheel was going to fall off...WTF.

some time's it's nice to be the star of the show and some time's it's not.
I think the brute 650 would be a great choice. looks like you can get it with independent rear suspension or the straight rear axel. if you check some test from a couple of years ago you will find great reviews of this quad. the brute with the straight rear axel is a praire with differant plastic. I think in many cases the straight axels are superior. when I was looking for a quad I had decided to buy the brute 650 and when I called for prices one of the shops I called said he did not have a 650 but would sell me a camo 750 for the same price.........eneded up paying 7200 otd.
