I totally think the exploration aspect is fun as well. It's great to find an old mine...a fallen building.

That's where my interests are, to a fault! I enjoy discussing the machines however, as there are parallel issues of interest to both hobbies in my opinion.
I think your website covers the technical riding very well; you have some great stuff here!

Says same pulling power, but another site says the Amsteel Blue is only rated at 7000 or so pounds for 1/4....10 bucks less...but 15 bucks more for the fairlead.
The MP is rated overall stronger.
From another site:
The Amsteel Blue 3/8" "rope" weighs in at just under 4 lbs for 125 feet and the average strength rated at 20,445 lbs
The MP Winch line 3/8" is rated at 23,500.

Who would need anymore than 5,000lbs on a ATV. I would keep a very sharp knife to cut loose from being pulled in on a pull.

Does the rock saver fit around the rope and act as a sort of sleeve the decrease wear and tear on the rope over sharp rocks, or someone cutting it mid winch up Winch hill 2Ken wrote:Got my stuff today.
