Yeti Cooler
I've been wanting one for sometime...pretty much the last cooler you buy. Virtually indestructible.

The 20Qt fits perfectly next to the Polaris cargo box. Can't wait to go camping.
Now that I've set it in place, I'll be getting the Yeti tie down to keep it in place and work on the mounting.

Re: Yeti Cooler
I'll be danged, I'd never heard of them before. I found them on Amazon and in the description it says: Certified as "Bear Resistant Containers" by the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee (a division of the U.S. Forest Service)
Are they serious? The bear-resistant stuff is pretty tough, seems like a bear could just rip the lid off.

Re: Yeti Cooler
The plastic seriously thick roto molded....if you look at the corner, each corner has a hole for a padlock. They certify the cooler, with both padlocks on. I think it's more likely, if it slows them down enough for you to wake up and scare them off....it was good enough. I can't imagine if the bear had unlimited time to work on it, they couldn't break something!GrizzlyGuy wrote:I'll be danged, I'd never heard of them before. Re: Yeti Cooler
Keyword here is "Resistant" big difference from Bear proof. All "Resistant" means is it will slow down the bear like Ken said, but for how long? few seconds to a minute.

All you have to do is stop by the house dude. I'll be home most of the time this week. We could even go riding if you want.Mr. Green wrote:nice ken, i have wanted to see one of these in person for some time, there a pricy chest for sure.
