Wheel Spacers
Chadd,
Have you seen any problems with 1" wheel spacers? Steve just got some for his quad....remember he had wheel rub.

1"? That's pretty wide.... Wouldn't he want steel wheels anyway? Id buy new rims.... elliminate the spacers and sell the old ones on eBay.

That's what I'd do....but he wants to use the fancy rims.

He got them from the Polaris dealer. Not sure where they ordered them. They're machined aluminum....they look nice.
You mean the lug nuts?

He thinks it's a little harder to turn....but hard to tell...so I guess it's not bad. He has 27" Mudlites....but the lighter aluminum rims...so I think it helps.DAVE wrote:How wide is Steve's machine with the spacers and the larger tires. outside to outside of tires???? is it fitting down the trails ok?
DAVE
He had no problems and no major difference on the trail...other than fitting on my trailer!
