tie-down idea for 05/06 Pol's
Same idea as bolting down the rear box. But using small eye-bolts. I really didnt want to start punching holes in the front rack with drills and screws.

But using "Eye Nuts" ,not sure where you all can find them. If there is a Factory supply Warehouse in your area I'm sure they will have them. Just dont go any larger than 5/16 or the bolt/dowel wont fit under the "C-channel". As far as moving around, tried them out this weekend and once you have anything tied down they stay put.

LOL MrBill...Thats where I ordered them though work(I build and machine plastic injection moulds) Anyway I used the stainless ones(metric) p/n 3155T11. I didn't want to mess with Miyagi's head using the metric system in his current state LOL. They are a bit cheaper and require an M8X1.25 bolt. Then you need to cut the heads off and weld them to a 5/16 X 2in dowel. the actual theads dont need to be any longer than 3/4"
