2010 Sportsman 850 Xp Eps snorkels

Postby Tri250 » Thu Apr 29, 2010 6:14 pm

Looking for some help, I have installed the snorkels with no issues. During last minute check before water test I found a small black circle on the top of the ECM. It looks like a vent, but theres not enough of a lip to put a hose on. Any ideas on what I can do?

Yeah...we really don't have much opportunity for snorkels here in California.

Are you sure it isn't just from the molding process? Its plastic, right?
Could also be a hole where a screw is countersunk???
Just throwing out some ideas.

The housing is metal unlike the plastic housing on the 800's. Its a vent for sure, been messing around with since I have posted help on 5 different forums.

squirt some silicon in it and call it done. I see no reason for the ecm to have a breather. I would think it would be sealed to prevent moisture and dust from getting in there.
