My old tires were GY Rawhides... I got the others from dan, I needed another set of rims.

Those rims look nice, but it would'nt take long for them to end up looking like mine do. Mud + polished rim = wet sanding. Guess what they end up looking like...dogshit! Don't waste your money imo.

That all depends on your terrain and how you ride. Aluminum could last forever if you were a casual trail rider. If you get out on the rocks I think the steel is going to hold up much better. My set of stock aluminum wheels were trash in two outings, way to soft. A wider tire with some sid lugs, like the Bighorn, helps keep the wheels off the rocks, took 4 trips to tear up one of my aluminum wheels with them on.Rider11x wrote:Not to change topic here, but which lasts longer and holds up better...Steel or Aluminum?
