I need ramps.....
Specifically, 10' or longer ramps.
Anyone have a favorite store they have dealt with for stuff like this? Any special brand you like? I would really like 12' ramps, but the $500 price tag tells me the wife would never go for it. I'm having a hard enough time selling her on the $260 price tag for the 10 footers.
Soooo I'm open to suggestions - please chime in!

FWIW, I just use one of those ramp kits that bolt onto wood planks of your choice. 2x8 lumber works fine. They're heavy, and don't fold, but they're pretty cheap. Kinda like so:

Those can end up costing alot.
I've seen them break.
Also, be VERY careful if you try and drive up them on a wet day...they get very slippery!
My brother used them before. Almost lost the quad when it broke.
Definitely makes the other ramps worth it at any price...$500 to make sure a $5000-$9000 quad gets into the truck/trailer safely???
...You betcha!

I've been told I joke around too much.
So one day I tried being serious.
Everybody laughed!

I think I used 2x10s, come to think of it, but I agree with what you say. I'm planning on upgrading to aluminum, but those worked well for me at the time. I chose the planks carefully - no big knots etc. and they are stored inside.

Finally got some decent ramps for my truck, from R.A.M.P.S. Inc, aka allramps.com.
I wanted both folding and a decent load capacity. These are rated at 3000 lbs for the pair.
It has a nice easy angle, for a 33" tailgate height.
The hinges are pretty beefy.
I can store them under the Grizzly for the trip to the ride.
I can store them in the cab when I get there.
The instructions said not to ride up the ramps, so....
