The Rubicon Little Sluice tree was cut up on May 12, 2012 by Brian Mulhollen. Many members from FOTR came out to help out, and many just came to watch history. See all the photos on the photo page.

This ride will be officially known as, "Todd's Tour". Kendo and I went to Virginia City from Reno a few years ago with Jeff and Scott T. joined us for our first visit. This time, we ran into Todd and his wife, Nondas. They gave us a killer tour around Virginia City, and toward Dayton Valley. We can't wait to go again with Todd the tour guide.

Scott and I took our last trip of the season on snow tracks to visit the Old Tree. It's very surreal to see the old man laying on his side. Go to the Photo page for photos, or watch the video of us going there and back. It wasn't without challenge...I threw a track and then broke an anti-rotation bar. Last year, Scott broke his on our last run of the season and this year was my turn. |
